As is tradition, we asked our esteemed respondents to share with our readers their achievements and thoughts on the year that has passed, as well as their plans for the year ahead.
NARA YEPREMYAN — Founder of the ART Vladi MIR brand
A little over a year ago, the signature of Honored Artist of Armenia Vladimir Abrahamyan became the name of our company. We added only one word — ART, meaning “art”: ART Vladi MIR. The artist’s signature carries several meanings: Vladi Mir can be understood as the artist’s world, or as world in the sense of peace, harmony, and accord.
During this time, many people have asked why we chose the name Vladi Mir. The reason is that our company, which produces original art scarves, brings the master’s art to the world, and it is only natural that these works bear his signature, just as his paintings do.
It has been only a year, yet we have already gained a certain degree of recognition, and our art scarves have found their way to different corners of the world. This is important to us, as is every opinion we receive — each one serves as a guide for moving forward. For us, this is another way to promote V. Abrahamyan’s art and to share Armenian art with the world.
A year — but not only of recognition. It has also been a year of overcoming obstacles and making difficult and responsible decisions.
A year — and more than 50 designs of scarves, shawls, and bracelets, offering not only women but also men the opportunity to adorn themselves with art.
A year — and the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia has already registered our trademark. In other words, our logo is legally protected.
A year — which may perhaps be only the beginning of new achievements, new projects, and a new journey toward recognition.
We are grateful to everyone who has been by our side, inspired us, supported us, appreciated art, and chosen our art scarves.
