The ART Vladi MIR brand was created in 2024. We present silk and chiffon scarves featuring reproductions of the works of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Vladimir Abrahamyan (1941–2020).
We call them canvas/scarves, because they are exact reproductions of the artist’s paintings. We even preserve the artist’s signature on the scarves.
Today, our collection includes scarves for women and men, pocket squares, women’s bracelets featuring our logo in steel paired with a silk twill band, and T-shirts.
We offer more than 50 scarf designs, with new artworks added to the collection from time to time. Many more of the master’s works are still waiting to take their place in our collection.
At the heart of our brand is the idea of sharing Armenian art with the world through the works of V. Abrahamyan.
We are often asked: Why Vladi MIR?
For me, creating this brand was never simply about producing scarves inspired by art. The scarves of ART Vladi MIR are, in a sense, his works of art. He is the artist and the author; I am merely the “intermediary” — the one bringing his vision into another form. It would not have felt right to create a brand connected to his work without his name being part of it.
It was decided that his signature should become part of the brand itself. We took the artist’s signature, Vladi MIR — “Vladimir’s world,” with MIR also meaning “peace” — and added ART in front of it.
The brushstroke across the word ART is the artist’s own. And the portrait on our logo is the artist himself.
Another distinctive choice was the color of our brand. It is inspired by the color of the artist’s eyes — as if everything exists under his gaze, with his presence always there.
Our packaging has also become part of what people recognize us by. Each of our scarves comes in a cylindrical tube box, featuring an element taken from one of the master’s paintings.
